The Dieujuste Family

This is a praise report about the Dieujuste family from Pernier, Haiti. This is a family that we met on one of our mission trips to Haiti last year. The father is a young man with a wife with 5 children all of whom we’ve met (Dr. Helen, Pastor Jessie White, and Sister Jacquie). We met them through their Pastor Aubert who told us that on Sunday when he arrives at church Mr. Diejuste and his family are the first to arrive. His prayers have been for his family and children. The four younger ones were not in school due to finances and he struggled for his eldest daughter who was 14. Although, they have had difficult times he stays with his wife and children no matter what. Pastor Aubert asked if we would help this family and we at Soul Winning Mission prayerfully helped with the education of his children. His daughter shared with Dr. Helen last Sunday that she ranked number 1 in her class! She is a motivated young woman of God. Her dream is to learn how to fly planes!!! She has a quick smile and a profound love of the Lord!! Please lift the family in prayer! We look forward to hearing more and for those who support SWM they have said, “Thank you”! “You have made our lives easier!”

This is a praise report to Our Lord! We supported the family last year so that all 4 children could attend school. We will continue to do the same this year with the Lords help!! Thank you and God bless!

It is with a heavy heart…

Soul Winning Missions is sorry to report that on May 15, 2017 our new member, John Everhart was called home to be with the Lord. We have extended our condolences to his family and will keep his children and family in our prayers.

New Fundraising efforts for Crusade in Haiti May29 – June 4, 2017

After six months of planning, our Financial Director was hospitalized about 3 weeks ago and not expected back to work due to a severe stroke and now heart disease. He has medical insurance but the true agenda of the enemy was to stop our plans for the Family Fun Days by attacking our finances!

We refuse to give up….Please help us to meet our financial obligations so that we can bring joy, peace and happiness to the people of Haiti. The events are scheduled for June 1,2 and 3 at Park St. Pierre located in the center of the town Petion-ville. The people of Haiti need to know that they are not forgotten. They need to know that God loves them and they need HOPE for a better future! I believe that we can be a force for good! 100% of donations go to Haiti and the entire event is overseen by me and my team personally!

The money will be used to provide lighting, audio, staging, props, inflatable bounce houses, slides, games, arts and crafts, entertainers, popcorn, sno-cones, fruits, cookies, water, face painting and songs. We are a 501 (c)3 non profit organization and everything is tax deductible.

In order for us to move forward with our plans we will need to raise these funds in 1 week! Please, HELP US by donating any amount that you can!!! No amount is too small or too large! I pray for a hundred fold return on your generosity in Jesus’ name! Thank you in advance for your generosity!

SWM Director of Fundraising and the Raffle Drawing

Saints please pray for Brother John Everhart, our new Director of Fundraising, who was flown to a Tampa hospital yesterday after suffering a stroke. He has been and still is in the ICU. Please lift Brother John up in prayer requesting a full and speedy recovery.

Secondly, some of our members who live in the northeast have been effected by the snow storm and have not been able to send their stubs for the raffle on time. It has been decided, to be fair to all who purchased raffles wanting to participate, that the raffle drawing will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 after the Bible Study instead of March 18th.

Feb 4, 2017 Crusade Planning Meeting at the Kinam Hotel

We had over 30 guests attend the planning meeting at the Kinam Hotel. Most are repeat participants dedicated to the vision of the tipping the scales in favor of our Lord Jesus Christ through spreading the gospel. Dr. Evangelist Helen Newton led the meeting with a powerful message about “The Kingdom”, who we are in the Kingdom, and changing the paradigm. We can not allow worldly behavior to infiltrate and destroy the righteousness in the Church. Her message was powerful and ushered in the work and diligence needed in planning the crusade. Portions of Dr. Newton’s message was broadcasted live on Facebook on the soulwinningmission.com page. Portions will be uploaded on this website.

We had Evangelist Claretha Dessuaso (Intercessory Prayer Lead in US) from South Carolina and Super Sister Matty D. from Central Florida University Skype in!! Pastor Jessie White from Connecticut was leading the Follow-up (Discipleship) ministry along with Sister Jacqueline Kowalsky were present during the meeting.

Feb 3, 2017 St. Marc, Haiti

We had a long day, up at 2 a.m., airport in Fort Lauderdale at 4:30 a.m., plane departed at 630 in Port au Prince at 8. We navigated safely through the airport and to the Avis car rental place and sat patiently while the car rental agreement was completed. We were off to St. Marc to negotiate the release of barrels that hadn’t reached its proper destination. We drove for an hour and a half to two hours with Pasteur St. Cine at the helm, getting us safely to the port. Spending hours going around in the square from this place to the next and back it was time to make it back to Petion-ville understanding the work hadn’t been completed and a return trip was needed.

We were able to dine and check into the hotel after 9:00 p.m. It had been a long day and we were glad to retire. Saturday was the meeting with the pastors and it would be a long, busy, and productive day.

Saturday, Nov. 12 in Petion-ville: Airport and Pastor’s Discipling Meeting

Saturday arrived and Dr. Helen had to go to the airport to receive the barrel. This was something the agent said was accomplished but we found out otherwise after closing on Friday. So 7:00 am Dr. Newton and Pasteur Reynold St. Cine were off to rescue the barrels.

Back at the Kinam, the remaining SWM members prepared for the Pastor’s meeting.
