Statement of Faith

We believe in God, the Father and Creator of all things. We believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that he lived and walked this earth. We believe that He truly lived a sinless life. We believe that He was crucified, died and was buried (Mat 28:19, 2Cor 13:14, 1Pe 1:2).

We believe He rose again on the third day and sits at the right hand of the Father. We believe in God the Father, God the Son who is Jesus the Christ, and that the Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit’s ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict the world of sin, and encourage righteousness. (Mat 1:18-25, John 1:1 & 14, 3:16, 1Cor 15:3-7, Heb 1:3, 1John 2:1).

We believe that the greatest miracle is the salvation of souls. We believe He brings about the new birth, indwells, baptizes, seals, anoints and endows all. We believe the Holy Spirit leads believers who daily surrender their life to Him by guiding, teaching, sanctifying and filling. (Job 15:26, 16:8, 3:3-6, 14:16-17, 14:26).

We believe in the resurrection of the body. At death the spirits of the saved go immediately to be with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven, and the unsaved descend immediately into hell until the final day of judgement.

We believe the Church consists of all who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe the local church represents the Kingdom of God on earth, exists to exalt Christ, encourage believers, and to evangelize the world. (1Col 1:28, Eph 4:3-6).

Core Values

We believe that the transformation of the hearts and minds of individuals by salvation is the only way to make an everlasting change. The gift of salvation is free. We receive the gift of salvation through faith. Transformation begins in the mind (Rom 12:2). The change, in the end is completely different then what was there before. The Spirit renews our thoughts and attitudes. (Phil 4:8-9, Heb 3:1, 2Tim 1:7). A renewed mind leads to changed behavior. Renewal of the mind is a process not a one time achievement. If there is no mind change, there will not be a life change!

Will of God

The Christian alternative to immoral behaviors is the triumphant power and transformation by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Lord, and our Treasure. “He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant – not of the letter but the fruit of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2Cor 3:6). So transformation is a profound, blood-bought, Spirit wrought change from the inside out. Signs of the transformation are the exhibition of the fruits of the Spirit “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness.”(Gal 5:22)
