We never really understand just how blessed we are, living where we live, and how we live… blessed of God. Waking up every day free to live our lives according to what we want to do.  We have a choice.  Unlike some of the Christian families in Pakistan who cannot find a job, or the only job offered to them because they are Christians, is to work in the brick kiln.  The brick kiln is slavery circa 2022.  We have been introduced to this heinous act of enslavement in Pakistan 2 years ago when we decided to pay off the debt for two families, so far, with a third in urgent need of freedom.  Understand that if the grandparents are in debt, they take the grandparents, the children, and their children.  Everyone works from sun up to sundown, making bricks.  The children do not go to school, they work. There were three generations who have been working here, the first generation has passed leaving the son, his wife, 3 children, and his two sisters, one of whom got married in the brick kiln which raised the debt that the son (as head of the family) has incurred. What is heinous, besides enslavement, is that they removed one of his kidneys as payment for the debt.  THEY REMOVED ONE OF HIS KIDNEYS AS PAYMENT, but it didn’t pay it in full.  See, that is the gimmick… no matter how many payments, they never pay it off.  They always owe, are always in debt, always have to make bricks.

The family had heard about Pastor Pervaiz and walked a three hours car drive, to see him, and ask for his help.  Below, Pastor feeds the man and his family.
